Le Rock

Exceptional dining experience I had for my birthday. We particularly enjoyed the snails, steak, and the traditional French dessert, as well as the table with a view of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Our waiter’s suggestion regarding the excellent fries was also correct. He is also very helpful with recommending the menu items and super friendly to the children. A wonderful evening, we look forward to dining again.

We had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was a wonderful experience! There was a partial view of the tree from our seat but it was still very special. The dining room isn’t super large and feels cozy and festive. It wasnt too noisy either. Service was great, very professional. There was a moment when they cleared crumbs off the table and accidentally brushed some onto my dads lap The food was wonderful! The flavors were delicious and filled us up. I read other reviews that the portions were small but I wouldn’t agree. Only the lobster was “small” as the serving was only half a lobster. I had the Dover sole and got very full. The starter burrata pasta was so delicious I almost wished it was my main!

Had an amazing lunch experience at Le Rock today, this is the quintessential French Bistro located within in heart of Rockefeller center in Midtown Manhattan. The restaurant was crowded and noisy but the food and service were fantastic today. We will definitely be returning to this fine establishment!

We enjoyed the restaurant week lunch. Food was good. Good wine as well. I just understand whey the apricot wasn’t baked in the almond tart. The apricot was not ripe, so that was the only thing that was disappointing.

Our first time here and… WOW. The service was incredible, so tentative and effortless. Owen our server was knowledgeable while Luis our back server was quick and thorough. The dessert was my favorite part. You can’t beat french patisserie!

Super delicious! Enjoyed the duck ragu pasta, the steak frites and chocolate mousse. It was a fantastic amount / balance of food. I thought the steak could have been cooked slightly less, it was a bit chewy, and they could have gotten away with fewer fries! (Maybe crispier fries too) Chocolate mousse was rich & 10/10 in my book. Manhattan was smooth. The red wine I had was delightful. Great service. A bit weird they didn’t bring all the drinks at once? It made “cheers” a bit awkward since some had water.

A perfect restaurant in a prime touristy location if you want to see Xmas tree or a skating ring. Elevated enough buy not pretentious and decently priced for the area. The cheeseburger is a bit underwhelming with not much flavors but the quality of meat was very good. My friend's tuna tartar was ok, on a smaller side. The bread basket use to be much better, now it is just 5 pieces of a baguette.
